I have tried to purchase an item but I’m outside your delivery area, how can I further my order?
The delivery area operates over a 50-mile radius of our store in South Yorkshire, in which delivery is free of charge. If you fall outside of this area, we will still endeavour to process your order. However there will be a nominal delivery charge, which is the reason why we need full details of your request. We will then contact you within one working day to confirm your order.
After looking at some sofa’s and chairs on the site I can see that the delivery times are fairly long, why is this?
As a well-established furniture retailer, we source our furniture from manufacturers all over the world. For this reason lead times on orders can be 8 weeks or over. This is simply because each item is made specifically for you, which helps our quality standards but unfortunately increases lead times. These delivery times are an estimate and can sometimes arrive sooner than expected.
I’m interested in a few items, but I want some different colours, is this possible?
Many of the products online do come in different wood finishes or covers. It is always advisable to telephone or e-mail us to discuss other options. You can do this by clicking on the ‘contact us’ section at the top of our homepage. Alternatively if you live locally to us, please feel free to visit our store where a sales representative will be happy to help. All items wanted in different colours will need to be purchased via the phone or in store.
I ordered an item and in the payment proceedings I’ve noticed that you only take an initial 25% deposit. When will the remaining balance be taken and are my details safe?
Ward Brothers Furnishers have chosen not take full payment straight away on our online orders. We understand that our products are of high value and sometimes taking just an initial 25% deposit can make things more manageable for our customers. The remaining balance is then taken when your goods arrive at our warehouse and delivery will take place when we receive cleared funds. Alternatively, if you wish to pay the full amount up front, just let us know via email or phone. All your details are stored safely and as always we fully comply with the Data Protection legislation.
