Ercol Tenon

Bold, geometric shapes and tenon joints left fully on show, from lozenge oval-shaped legs to sideboard door handles. The ercol Tenon spans an extending dining table, chairs and sideboards, with a matching coffee table, shelving unit and desk in solid oak and a single Natural Oak finish. Joinery as the Design Statement

The Tenon takes ercol's traditional mortise-and-tenon joint and puts it on full display rather than hiding it away. Lozenge oval-shaped legs and bold, geometric lines run through the whole collection, with the tenon joints on the sideboard handles, table legs and shelving left exposed as a mark of strength as much as style. It is one of the most confidently modern designs in the current ercol range.

The dining side covers a large and small extending table, both on a reciprocating butterfly mechanism that opens from either end, a standard dining chair and an upholstered version, and a large and small sideboard, each with a soft-closing double cupboard and three deep drawers. A coffee table, nest of tables, a tall shelving unit and a desk carry the same look into the living room and home office.

Solid Oak, One Confident Finish

Every piece in the Tenon collection is built from solid oak and oak veneers, finished in a single Natural Oak, dead matt lacquer that lets the timber's grain show through and keeps the look consistent from the dining table to the desk.

A Statement for a Contemporary Dining Room

The bold, geometric shapes and exposed joinery make the Tenon a natural fit for a dining room that wants a genuine talking point, rather than a quieter, more traditional look. Because the range reaches into the living room and home office too, with matching coffee table, shelving and desk pieces, it also suits anyone building one consistent look across more than one room.

Fabric for the Upholstered Chair

Alongside the standard show wood dining chair, the Tenon Upholstered Dining Chair adds a fabric seat for a softer sit without losing the oak frame underneath. It's worth seeing the fabric in person and confirming the exact options with our team before you order.
