on Delivery Day
1. Confirmation & Courtesy Call
Your delivery is scheduled for either a morning or afternoon slot. We call 30 minutes before delivery, giving you an accurate arrival time so you can enjoy the rest of your day.
2. Professional Introduction
Our uniformed two-person team arrives, introduces themselves and confirms where your furniture is to be placed.
3. Careful Delivery & Protection
We use protective measures around your flooring and doorways, expertly navigating furniture through your home, even in tight spaces.
4. Precise Placement & Assembly
Your furniture is positioned exactly where you want it – upstairs, downstairs or across multiple rooms. Beds, cabinets and recliners are assembled correctly and securely.
5. Complete Cleanup & Satisfaction Check
All packaging, wrapping and waste is removed and taken away. We demonstrate any adjustable features and confirm you're completely satisfied before leaving.

Do you deliver on weekends?
Currently, our delivery service operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. For Saturday delivery availability, please call us on 01302 811911. We occasionally accommodate weekend deliveries for specific circumstances.
Can I track my delivery on the day?
You'll receive a courtesy call approximately 30 minutes before our team arrives, giving you an accurate arrival window. This means you don't need to wait in all day, and you'll know exactly when to expect us.
What if my furniture doesn't fit through the door?
Our team has over a century of combined experience navigating furniture through challenging spaces. We assess access during your order and will advise if we foresee any issues. In 105 years, we've rarely encountered a doorway or staircase we couldn't work with.
Do you remove old furniture?
We can arrange removal of your old furniture for an additional fee. Please mention this when placing your order, and we'll provide a quote and arrange collection on your delivery day.
What if I need to reschedule my delivery?
We understand that plans can change. Simply call us on 01302 811911 as soon as possible, and we'll rebook your delivery at no extra charge. We'll work with you to find a convenient alternative date.
What areas do you deliver to?
We offer local delivery within a 75-mile radius of Doncaster for £59, and nationwide delivery across mainland UK for £99. Nationwide delivery excludes Scottish Highlands, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and select remote areas in Cornwall and Wales. Call us to confirm coverage for your postcode.
What if there's damage during delivery?
While extremely rare, if any damage occurs during delivery, we address it immediately. Our team inspects every item before placement and will not leave until you're satisfied. Any issues are reported straight away and resolved quickly through our customer service team.
Do you deliver upstairs or only ground floor?
We deliver to any room in your home — ground floor, upstairs, or even loft conversions. Our two-person teams are trained in safe furniture handling on stairs and in tight spaces. Just let us know your delivery location when ordering.
How long does delivery take once booked?
Delivery timeframes vary by product. Parker Knoll furniture typically takes 10-12 weeks, while stock items can often be delivered within 7-14 days. We'll confirm your delivery timeline when you place your order.
Do I need to be present for delivery?
Yes, someone over 18 must be present to accept delivery, confirm placement locations, and sign for receipt. This ensures your furniture is positioned exactly where you want it.
