Most dining chairs are built to be sat in briefly. Stressless dining chairs are built for the opposite – for the meals that run long, the conversations that don't wrap up on schedule. The flexible seat and back move with you as you lean in or sit back, rather than fixing you in one position.
The Balance&Glide™ System
Lean forward, and the chair reduces pressure under your legs while supporting your back. Lean back, and the seat slides forward as the backrest reclines. On chairs with the D350 base, the seat also swivels, making it easier to get in and out and to turn towards whoever you're talking to.
Leather, Fabric and Build
Stressless dining chairs are available in the same range of leathers and fabrics as our recliners and sofas, and are built with sustainability in mind – wood sourced from responsibly managed forests, and chairs designed to be repaired and refurbished rather than replaced. Every chair carries a 10-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the internal mechanism and construction.
