Venjakob Chi 204
A round extending dining table on a slender pedestal base, with four wooden slats connecting frame to top. The Venjakob Chi 204 is available in two sizes, each extending via a single folding leaf, with a choice of oiled oak and walnut finishes. Explore the Venjakob studio at Ward Brothers, Doncaster.
A Considered Pedestal Table
The Chi 204 is built around a circular metal base plate, with four slim wooden slats rising to meet the table top, a detail that gives the whole table a lighter, less bulky feel than a solid pedestal column. It is offered in two sizes, one extending from roughly 120cm to 170cm and a larger version extending from around 140cm to 190cm, both via a single 50cm folding leaf stored within the table.
Because it is round, the Chi 204 suits a room where a rectangular table would feel too dominant, while still extending to seat more guests when needed.
Suited to a Dining Room That Needs to Flex
A round extending table earns its place in a room used daily by a smaller household but called on to seat more for family gatherings. The Chi 204's slender base also helps it sit comfortably in a smaller dining space without crowding the room.
Finish and Build
The base plate is available in stainless steel optic or metal anthracite matt, with the top offered in wild oak oiled, oak rustico light oiled, Colorado walnut oiled, wild oak light oiled or wild oak light soft brushed oiled finishes. Venjakob recommends pairing it with the Benita or July armchair or the Elina chair, though it works equally well with other chairs from the range. Every table carries a five-year manufacturer's guarantee.
